District admin should take decisions in the best interest of people: Arshad

Commissioner Bannu Division Arshad Khan has said that the district administration should take decisions in the best interest of the people so that the people could benefit equally from the budget and public welfare schemes released by the provincial government. He expressed these views while presiding over a performance review meeting of Lakki Marwat district administration in his office.
Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat Iqbal Hussain, Secretary to Commissioner Noorul Amin and District Heads of Lakki Marwat Line Departments were present on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat Iqbal Hussain gave a detailed briefing on the performance while the district head of each line department gave a detailed briefing on thr performance of their respective departments to the meeting.
On this occasion, Commissioner Bannu Division expressed dissatisfaction over non-preparation of presentation by Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Soil and Water Conservation and said that he would personally visit Lakki Marwat district for briefing and review their performance on the spot. Further, Commissioner Bannu Division Arshad Khan directed the District Head of Education Department to complete the procurement of furniture as soon as possible in the budget allotted for the furniture. He said that all the line departments of the district administration need to be diligent at all times to serve the people.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Bannu Division Arshad Khan expressed satisfaction over some issues but issued instructions and suggestions to some departments to improve their performance.
Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat said that he was in close contact with the administrative officers and district heads of the line departments due to which public issues were being resolved expeditiously. Commissioner Bannu also directed to intensify efforts to further improve the performance of Health, Education, Agriculture, Water Management, PDMA, TMA and other concerned departments.
At the end of the meeting, the Commissioner Bannu Division instructed the district heads of line departments to make their preparations 100 per cent better and also assigned them different tasks.
