District Police Officer (DPO) Masood Ahmed on Thursday addressed students at Women University Mardan, highlighting the importance of education, competitive examinations and awareness against drug abuse.
During his address, the DPO shared practical guidance on preparing for the CSS examination and stressed the significance of consistent study and focus for achieving success.
He also gave a detailed briefing on the growing trend of drug use, outlining its social and individual consequences, and informed students about measures being taken by Mardan Police to curb the menace.
Mr Ahmed urged students to play an active role in raising awareness against drugs and contribute positively towards eliminating the problem from society.
He advised the youth to channel their energies towards education and constructive activities, adding that such efforts would enable them to bring pride to their families as well as contribute meaningfully to society and the country.
