MOHMAND: District Police Officer (DPO) Raza Muhammad on Wednesday held a weekly meeting at his office to hear grievances of police personnel and ensure their prompt redressal. Head Clerk Sameen Jan and OSI Sher Zameen Khan were also present. Officials from various police stations, outposts and different branches of the district police attended the session and highlighted their departmental as well as personal issues. The DPO listened to the complaints and issued on-the-spot directives for resolving several of them. He also reviewed pending inquiries against police personnel and directed that these be finalised on merit within the stipulated timeframe. Speaking on the occasion, the DPO said that addressing the problems of police personnel remained his top priority, adding that their welfare was essential for improving performance and ensuring effective policing for the public.
