SWAT: District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Muhammad Umar Khan, on Monday distributed relief cheques among police officials affected by the recent floods. Speaking on the occasion, DPO Umar Khan said the initiative was part of the department’s commitment to stand with its personnel and their families in times of crisis. He noted that the floods had displaced many residents and caused heavy financial losses, leaving people to face severe difficulties. The DPO described the relief as a “modest contribution” and assured that support would continue during the rehabilitation and reconstruction phases.
