MARDAN: Dr. Syed Zafarullah Bakhshali, Chairman of the Pashto Department at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, has been elected as a member of the Board of Studies at the Pashto Academy, University of Peshawar. Dr. Bakhshali has been serving as an Assistant Professor at AWKUM for the past seven years and holds a PhD focused on the life and literary contributions of Khudai Khidmatgar Tehreek’s Fazlur Rahim Saqi. His academic contributions span a broad range, with seven research books to his name and dozens of scholarly articles published in national and international journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Currently serving as the editor of the International Journal of Pakhtunkhwa (Pashto Department), Dr. Bakhshali has also presented his research work at numerous academic conferences both within Pakistan and abroad.
