The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has appointed Dr. Mian Saeed, a Grade-20 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, as the new Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar. An official notification has been issued in this regard. Dr. Saeed is regarded as one of the most experienced and capable officers in the province. He has previously served as SSP Operations Peshawar, SSP CTD Peshawar, DPO Mardan, Swabi and Hangu, as well as DIG Gilgit, and has held key positions in FIA, FC and Motorway Police.
Known for his honesty, strict command and professionalism, he is respected both within the police force and among the public. His extensive experience in countering crime and terrorism is seen as a valuable asset.
Officials and observers have termed his appointment a positive step expected to improve policing, restore public confidence and strengthen law and order in the provincial capital. Dr. Saeed recently completed his PhD abroad and is recognized as a hardworking and dedicated police officer.
