Kohat: The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has carried out a vigorous and effective crackdown against property tax defaulters in district Kohat as part of its ongoing efforts to ensure revenue compliance. Acting on the special directives of Excise and Taxation Officer Kohat, Rahman-ud-Din, departmental teams conducted an operation in various parts of the city. During the action, several commercial and residential units located on Pindi Road and Markaz Road were sealed due to non-payment of outstanding property tax dues. The Excise and Taxation Department has reiterated that timely payment of taxes is not only a legal obligation but also essential for provincial development and public welfare.
