Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on social protection and poverty alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar has said that the incumbent government under the leadership of Imran Khan is string hard to provide relief to the masses and that is way it has initiated number of projects that has directly extend financial support to the deserving ones.
He expressed the views on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the office of Ehsaas one window program here in Jamrud on Thursday.
She said that under the facility, the deserving people will get registration and payment under one roof and efforts will be made to establish the office across the country.
Education scholarship has been started in the country and we have set the target to confer ten million educational grants to the poor students from K.G to secondary grade aimed to assist them to continue their studies, Miss Nishtar remarked.
She maintained that under the direction of the PM Imran Khan to provide maximum relief to the poors, for the last three weeks Ehsaas Ration Program has been kicked off in the country initially to facilitate 20 million poor segments of the society.
Dr Sania Nishtar said that through SMS, the deserving registered family will be informed to avail the financial assistance from the concerned office.
Ignorance pertaining the masses welfare schemes, initiated by the government is the major challenge she added and asked the eligible people to make registration to get aid of either of wellbeing projects of the government.
She urged the media to play their due role and create awareness among the masses so that they can benefit from the facilities of Ehsaas Kafalot, Ehsaas ration and scholarship facilities.
Earlier, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on social protection and poverty alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar was warmly received by the Member National Assembly Iqbal Afridi, Member Provincial Assembly Shafiq Afridi, Deputy Commissioner, Khyber Mansoor Arshad and local political and tribal elites beside officials.
She formally cut the ribbon to formally open the office and later on she inspected various sections of it.
The visiting guest also planted a sibling on the eve of the spring plantation campaign.
