In a decisive move to curb the rising menace of drugs and protect future generations, the Excise Department has intensified its operations, making them more effective and systematic.
This initiative aims to eliminate the drug trade and cleanse society of this growing scourge.
A statement issued here stated that acting on the special instructions of Secretary Excise Syed Fayyaz Ali Shah and Director General Excise Abdul Halim Khan, a large-scale crackdown has been launched against drug peddlers, dealers, smugglers, and their facilitators.
The operations were being carried out under the supervision of Director Narcotics Control Imaduddin.
To ensure the success of this campaign, special teams have been formed under the leadership of Excise and Taxation Officer Narcotics Control Masoodul Haq and Provincial Incharge Excise Bureau of Intelligence and Investigation Saud Khan Gandapur.
