Chairman and founder of the Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah asserted reforms, patriotism and strong accountability is the dire need of the hour. He stated favoritism and anti-merit gave birth to issues.
Shah while talking to various delegations here on Tuesday said slave minds have made the whole system paralyses. He stressed that all institutions should collaborate for broad-based reforms.
He said this role needs to play COAS. The party chief said venom of corruption has been proliferated in the whole society.
He said time is running out, if the reforms cannot be brought so this venom will murder the entire society. He emphasized change is essential in elections in order to prevent political unrest.
Faiq said here servants, subservient and slave of Britons have become king. He said political and public leadership was barred to come forward.
‘One system is spinning around the personal interests that has snatched calm of 250 million people”, The party leader suggested the tenure of all top rank positions like COAS, PAF chief, courts and prime minister along with chief ministers should be made for one year.
In the second year, other provinces, districts and competent people should provide a chance to come forward that will bring up a new capability, leadership and honesty, he added.
Shah said amnesty should not be granted to those who plundered Pakistan’s exchequer by considering it as a free fund and broke the constitution.
