Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah has criticised that provincial government is reluctant to hold local bodies elections on parties basis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa owing to frigthening of humiliating defeat, saying that people will not allow to succeed them.
Faiq while chairing a meeting of party’s central office bearers regarding election campaign ahead of local bodies’ polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that PTI poor performance during last 8 years rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government was using delaying tactics in conduct of local government elections in the province. He added the rulers fully believe their unpopularity as a plan has been devised to rig upcoming general elections.
The ATP chairman made it clear that those who usurp the rights of poor masses will face surprising and explicit defeat in next general elections.
He criticised the rulers for bringing poor masses in such a situation wherein they were fighting to earn bread and butter in a very difficult way.
He said owing to lack of resources, the girls of poor people were unable to get timely married and became overage with the passage of time.
Faiq alleged the claimants of fighting against corruption have become a substance for strengthening the mafia. He said the PTI led government has made history in incompetence during the last 3 years of rule.
He maintained the present government is consistent with the previous era, adding that claimants of change have proved as false and fraud.
The ATP chief asserted that the nation should hold assessment of the ruling elite and group in next general elections and say ‘Good Bye’ to feudal lords and ‘Waderas’ from public power forever.
Later, the ATP delegation led by Awais Khan and Raja Bashir Ahmad briefed the party chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah after completing two-day visit to Multan district of Punjab. They were apprised about the growing popularity of the party in southern Punjab.
The leaders assured that the party ticket holders will humiliatingly defeat their opponent candidates of different political parties in upcoming local bodies’ elections in K-P.
