PESHAWAR: FIA Commercial Banking Circle Peshawar have arrested 4 suspects involved in hawala handi and illegal currency exchange here on Saturday. Among the arrested accused are Siraj Wali, Ismat Afridi, Siraj Ahmed and Muhammad Allah, a spokesman of the FIA said here. The accused was arrested from Chowk Yadgar and Sadar area of Peshawar, FIA spokesman said. A total of Rs. 20.01 million was recovered from the accused, FIA spokesman said, adding, the currency included 1100 Saudi riyals and 1000 Qatari riyals were also recovered from the accused. The accused were doing currency exchange business without license, FIA spokesman said, adding, the records related to handi reference were also recovered from the accused. APP
