MARDAN
The fifth Citizen Facilitation Center was officially inaugurated in Mardan to enhance the delivery of public services in the district.
The center was inaugurated by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Science and Information Technology Dr. Shafqat Ayaz.
The event was attended by key local officials including Provincial Food Minister Muhammad Zahir Shah, Commissioner Mardan Javed Marwat, Deputy Commissioner Mardan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chairman Mardan Board Professor Jahanzeb, as well as officers from the Science and Information Technology Department.
The Mardan Citizen Facilitation Center will provide over 26 essential government services to the public under one roof, eliminating the need for citizens to visit multiple offices for routine tasks. These services include the issuance of domicile certificates, birth and death certificates, arms licenses, land transfers, approval of building plans, water connections, and vehicle registrations, among others.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony Dr. Shafqat Ayaz emphasized the significance of the new facility, stating, “Now, citizens will no longer need to visit different offices for these services. Everything will be available at one place, under one system. This initiative is a revolutionary step towards improving public convenience, ensuring transparency, and making government services more accessible to the people.”
