PESHAWAR
At least five people including a woman were killed in firing incidents in South Waziristan and Charsadda district on Monday. Police said the first incident occurred in Tiyarza tehsil of South Waziristan where three people, hailing from Sanga area of Wana were shot dead by unknown assailants.
The dead were identified as Hafiz Ur Rehman, Faizan Ullah and Inam Ullah. Bodies of the deceased were later shifted to their native village. Police said the deceased also had an enmity however an investigation into the incident was initiated.
In another incident in Malkadher area of Charsadda district two people including a woman were shot dead over a monetary dispute.
Police said the incident took place in Abbas Kilay of Malkadher where two people identified as Imtiaz and a woman named Kabali were shot dead. The bodies were shifted to DHQ Charsadda for medico legal procedure. Police have started an investigation after registering the case.
