ISLAMABAD: Government has abolished the free electricity units facility for the employees of power division. As per media reports., minister for power division Owais Laghari has welcomed court decision for abolishing the free electricity units facility for power sector employees. Energy minister wrote in his message on social media website X that for the first time in the history of the country free units of electricity facility for power sector employees has been abolished under leadership of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif. Owais Leghari said the learned court accepted plea of the power division. Abolition of free unit was old demand of the people. Online
