PESHAWAR: The funeral prayer for five-year-old Ayat Noor, whose body was recovered from a well after 14 days of abduction, was offered in Haripur on Tuesday, drawing a large number of people. The body of the girl was recovered a day earlier from a well at a warehouse near the University of Haripur. Her funeral prayer was held at the Khad Factory Ground and was attended by local residents as well as political, social and religious figures. Police and Rescue 1122 personnel recovered the girl’s body from the well after a two-hour rescue operation.
