Governor Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Syed Mehdi Shah has met with President Dr Arif Alvi on Firday.
The overall situations of Gilgit Baltistan (GB), wheat subsidy, Baltistan University and issues of Skardu have been discussed in the meeting. President said in the meeting that we have talked to Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) and Finance Minister on matter of wheat subsidy in Gilgit Baltistan (GB).
We hope that the issues of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and the wheat subsidy matter will be resolved soon.
President said that Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) agreed to meet the elected members of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Council on the issue of wheat subsidy.
Last day, delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Council had met the President on the issues of the region and on the matter of subsidy.
President assured the delegation to discuss the issues of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) with relevant forums.
