Petroleum products prices are likely to be increased in Pakistan in next week owing to surge in prices in international market.
As per sources of ministry of petroleum prices of oil have increased by 4.37 dollar per barrel in international markets during the last 12 days. The oil price has been enhanced from 77.78 per dollar to 82.15 dollar per barrel in international markets.
The price of petrol is likely to scale up Rs 7 per liter and diesel Rs 5 per liter from February 01.
OGRA and ministry of petroleum have started working about the prices of petroleum products.
Petroleum sources further said final recommendations about enhancement in prices of petroleum products will be sent till January 31.
