ISLAMABAD: Review petition filed by government in PTI founder transfer case, has been allotted number formally. Government miscellaneous review petition related to shifting Imran Khan to Al-Shifa hospital has been allotted formal number in Supreme Court (SC). Number Crl.MA.2033/2026 has been allotted to review petition filed by the government. The process for fixing the petition for hearing will start now after allotment of number. When Review petition will be fixed , it will be decided by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP). It is pertinent to mention here SC had ordered on August 18, 2026 to shift Imran Khan from Adiala jail to Shifa International hospital Islamabad. Government had filed review petition against this order taking the plea the treatment of the accused should take place in government hospital. Online
