Commissioner Bannu division Arshad Khan has said that data about Afghan citizen would be obtained from the Afghan Commissionerate local office and strict legal action would be taken against the unregistered Afghan citizen
Commissioner Bannu division on Monday a high level meeting to review smooth implementation and monitoring of the Revised National Action Plan (NAP) in the division.
District Police Officer Bannu Iqbal Khan, Excise and Taxation Officers, Assistant Director NADRA and other high ups of the division attended the meeting.
The performance and procedures of all the law enforcement agencies working in Bannu Division under the Revised National Action Plan were reviewed.
The members of the meeting decided to all refugees except those holding Afghan citizen card and smart card for Afghan refugees will be considered illegal and legal action will be taken against them.
Arshad Khan directed the quarter concerned that the data report of all registered Afghan families and individuals should be obtained from Afghan Commissionerate office in Bannu.
Commissioner Bannu Division Arshad Khan instructed the Secretary to Commissioner to get a detail report from the Deputy Commissioner and District Police Officer North Waziristan regarding transfer of ownership of levy and Khasadar force and other operational equipment.
In the meeting, police infrastructure, work speed and procedure were reviewed in the newly merged districts and directed that a detailed report should be prepared in this regard before the next meeting.
He said that provincial government should ensure concrete measures to release funds for the timely completion of police development projects and the newly merged districts.
