MARDAN: Haji Namat Shah Roghani, president Anjuman-e-Kashtkaran Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa passed away after protracted illness and was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Sawaldher on Thursday. His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at his native village. Large numbers of people attended his Namaz-e-Janaza. He was the father of Ajmal Shah Roghani National Bank, Zakir Shah Roghani and Maqsood Shah Roghani. Haji Namat Shah Roghani was born in 1930 in Sawaldher, a town in Mardan. He received his primary education in Sawaldher. In his early age he played a prominent role in Tehreek-e-Pakistan and Muslim League and rendered his services. Namat Shah was 17 years old when Pakistan became independent. He has focused all his attention on improving the lives of the farmers and the people of the region. Our Correspondent
