Health advisor’s orders are not being implemented, says Sharafatullah

Provincial president Paramedical Association Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Sharafatullah Yousafzai said that as a result of discussions with the Health Advisor, the postponed protest is being forced to resume.
“For the solution of Paramedics problems the health advisor orders to legitimate problems are not followed. He expressed these views while talking to the media.
Sharafatullah Yousafzai said that the monthly meeting of Paramedical Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held under his chairmanship.
He added that the general secretary Haji Luqman Gul presented the agenda. He added that after detailed discussion it was unanimously decided in the meeting that the promotion process should be expedited.
The remaining DPCs of scale 12 should be held by the next week and promotion/posting orders should be issued for the DPCs that have already taken place.
The raids of the Health Care Commission were strongly condemned on first aid centers run by qualified paramedics, and advertising on social media.
They added that the committees formed at the directorate level to solve the problems and demands of the paramedics are powerless. These committees are nominal and have no performance.

They demanded the Adviser Health Dr Riaz Anwa, Secretary Health, DG Health and Chief Executive HCC to stop these illegal raids and humiliation immediately, otherwise all the paramedics’ community across the province will boycott all these works in the hospitals. , whose healthcare commission does not allow outside the four walls of the hospital.

They demanded from the Health department to empower these committees as soon as possible and also implement its recommendations. Sharafatullah Yousafzai said that the decision to boycott the outreach activities of the EPI staff across the province was fully confirmed and the provincial government and health department officials were warned that if the outreach money to the EPI staff including arrears is not paid by 31st December then from 1st January more stringent decisions will be taken.
He added that more demands are abolition of MTI and placement of promoted paramedics on upgraded posts or given shadow posts in MTI hospitals, Personal upgradation should be given in X FATA, Strongly oppose the Society of Anesthesia and all similar groups to protect paramedics from grouping. Officials of the concerned units should take constitutional and disciplinary action against those who break the paramedic community.
The arrears of the paramedic’s community going to the Sindh flood should be immediately released. Immediate payment of salaries to the employees of all the projects including MTI Hospitals.
