BAJAUR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shahid Ali Khan on Tuesday handed over compensation cheques to the families of victims, who were killed or injured in various incidents of terrorism in the district. Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Bajaur Anwar Zeb Khan was also present in the ceremony held at the DC office in Bajaur. The event was attended by the heirs of those martyred and injured. Speaking on the occasion, the DC Bajaur and MPA reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to supporting the victims of terrorism. They emphasized that all possible measures are being taken to assist the families of the martyrs and the injured. “The district administration will continue to take practical and effective steps for the resolution of the problems faced by affected families and ensure their rehabilitation,” said DC Shahid Ali Khan.
