Mardan: The Institute for Cultural & Civic Education (ICCE) nonprofit able organization with collaboration of Directorate of Culture Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has implemented Cultural Jirga at Hujra Haji Rahman Kaka Tehsil Katlang Mardan under RICH project.
The presenter of this event was Muhammad Sadiq. About 60 participants which include elders and youth were participated. Meer BahadarNazim Union Council Jamal Garhi-1 was the chief guest of this event.
Aslam Khan, Ishfaq Hussain Advocate, Muhammad Tahir Youth counselor, Muhammad Ayub kaka, Amir Khan kaka and Haji Rehman Kaka have addressed to the gathering about the importance of jirga in Pashtoon society.
They also elaborate that Jirga has a shining history and it was the house of legislation and a way of conflict resolution.
All the participants discussed and guide youth on the importance of Jirga in bringing peace and resolution of conflicts.
They also appreciated the Directorate of Culture and Institute for Cultural & Civic Education and for arranging such useful activity.
