Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Moazzam Jah Ansari has said that sports play an important role in eradication social evils and provides multiple opportunities to youth to shine their carrier in national and international level.
He expressed these views on Tuesday during a meeting with office bearers of Malik Saad Memorial Sports Trust.
On this occasion, Moazzam Jah Ansari lauded the role of the trust and said that Pakistan’s proud cricketer Shaheen Shah Afridi has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador of KP Police to spread the positive image of the KP police.
The IG assured the members of the trust that the provincial police would play its full role in organizing sports activities across the province.
The members of the trust informed IG police and they were assured of providing services in the field of education as well as education and health under the auspices of the trust.
