Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri has said that the mega project of Khyber Economic Corridor will bring development and prosperity to the area and the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) strives hard to resolve problems of the masses at their door steps.
The views he expressed as a chief guest while addressing to a public gathering, organized in connection of oath taking ceremony of AnjumaneTajeran, Landi Kotal Bazaar here in Tehsil Municipal Authority (TMA) office on Sunday.
He said that with founding of the Corridor, industrial and promotion schemes will also be initiated that will change fate of the district Khyber and adjacent areas.
Landi Kotal Bazaar has historical importance and all efforts will be made to uphold unique status of it, he added and said that the provincial government has approved 200 million rupees for beautification and pavement of streets in the Bazaar and neighboring localities.
He congratulated the new office bearers of the Bazaar union and urged them to utilize their energies for the welfare of traders’ community.
Newly elected President Jafer Shinwari apprised the Federal Minister of the problems of the Bazaar.
Earlier, the chief guest administered oath to the new cabinet of the Anjumane Tajeran, Landi Kotal Bazaar.
