KP Govt, PPAF agree on joint service of people

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) has agreed to jointly explore models, agility, and robust programming to serve the people, especially in the underserved areas of the province.
Both parties agreed during a meeting of the Provincial Advisory Committee (PAC) held here on Tuesday with Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Shahab Ali Shah in the chair.
The meeting was participated by high officials from various ministries and line departments i.e. agriculture, tourism, and environment, and PPAF’s team led by Irshad Khan Abbasi, Group Head, Institutional Development, Innovation, and Integration.
Addressing the participants of the meeting Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Shahab Ali Shahs said that the Provincial Government would expedite the process on shared development projects with Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) to initiate various development projects in the province.
Earlier, Irshad Khan Abbasi gave a detailed presentation on PPAF’s work across Pakistan as well as the development footprint in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He outlined the details of proposed equity-based projects including Deaf Reach Center of Excellence in at Nowshera, Food Security and Business Promotion of Through Integrated Farm Service Centers at Swabi, Lower Dir, and Bajaur, and Integrated Tourism and Agri-Tourism Development Plan for Mountainous regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Additional Chief Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while showing keen interest in the proposed projects asserted on enhanced coordination, data sharing, and modalities to devise action plans for the collaborated interventions.
