The motto of Khyber Students Association is to address problems of the students in University of Peshawar (UoP) and to guide and facilitate new learners, seeking admission in the institution.
Talking to the local media persons, on occasion of his visit to District Press Club last day KSA President Muhammad Umar said that besides looking after interest of the students community, the association also engaged in organizing public welfare activities, including setting up blood donation camp, arranged public awareness sessions etc.across the district.
All doings are carried out on the self contribution of the member students he added and said due to shortage of financial support numbers of welfare acts remained unpracticed.
Flanked by KSA Chairman and Pattern-in-Chief, Zahid Gul Afridi and Haris Shinwari respectively, he appreciated the positive role of the tribal journalists in Khyber and urged them to utilize their energies for the wellbeing of the tribesmen.
Prior to it, the KSA office holders visited the cantonment, Landi Kotal, met with the Commandant Khyber Rifle Col Asim Aziz Kayani and exchanged with him matters of mutual interests.
Later on, the guests visited Michni Check point, where they were briefed of the Pak-Afghan sharing border,Torkham.
