ISLAMABAD: Lawyers Action Committee (LAC) has adopted resolution for launching lawyers movement under Ali Ahmad Kurd. It has been said in the resolution that the present procedure for appointment of judges in high courts is terribly disastrous and judges interview has become a joke. Instead of learning from the mistakes, the same mistakes are being repeated in Azad Kahsmir. Hamid Khan advocate said during the press conference of representatives of LAC that lawyers movement will be started after court’s vacations. Ali Ahmad Kurd said on the insistence of associates he accepted chairman ship of the movement reluctantly. ONLINE

Resolution said situation in KP and Balochistan is grave. Imaan Mazari, Hadi Ali Chatha , Mahrang Baloch and PTI founder have been kept in prison. This all has been done to suppress opponent voices. The attempt for rigging in the election of bar council is condemnable.
Ali Ahmad Kurd said people have now set their eyes on lawyers of Pakistan.
We are going to include people in this movement. Our first public meeting will take place in KP . We will organize program in London on invitation of overseas Pakistanis, he added.
