Advisor to the Chief Minister on information Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Thursday said that the role of literature is crucial in human development and evolution across generations.
He expressed these views during his address as a special guest at the All Pakistan Iqra Literary Festival at Iqra National University, Peshawar.
A statement issued here, Mr Saif underscored that literature is essential in transmitting human experiences, knowledge, and intellectual evolution across generations.
He shared that all forms of development, whether social, political, scientific, or philosophical, are rooted in literature. He encouraged the youth to focus on building their character, as a strong moral and intellectual foundation is key to meaningful progress.
The festival brought together students from across Pakistan to engage in various academic and creative activities, fostering intellectual dialogue among the youth.
