A delegation from Katlang, Mardan, led by Pakistan Peoples Party leader and former district nazim Asad Ali Kashmiri, along with Syed Badshah Shankar Khankhel and former PK-59 candidate Sherzada Khan, met Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday and discussed key public issues.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed concern over delays in the construction of the Katlang–Buner Road, particularly at Shankar Chowk. They also highlighted problems related to unannounced electricity load-shedding and difficulties being faced by residents in accessing NADRA services.
The governor assured the delegation that a meeting with WAPDA officials would be arranged to address electricity-related issues on a permanent basis.
He further said that necessary instructions had already been issued to the concerned authorities regarding issues related to NADRA, police, and the KP Highway Authority.
Faisal Karim Kundi also stated that scholarships for deserving students would soon be provided through the Pakistan Red Crescent Society on a merit basis, adding that the initiative is currently in the approval stage.
