ISLAMABAD: Senior journalist Mati Ullah Jan has challenged trial court order in narcotics and terrorism case. Mati Ullah Jan has challenged trial court decision in drugs and terrorism related case against him in Islamabad High Court (IHC). A petition has been filed through barrister Mian Ali Ishfaq against trial court decision for not removing drugs related charges against Mati Ullah Jan from case against him . The petitioner has taken the plea the order issued by ATC be declared null and void as neither any video is there nor any CCC TV footage is available regarding recovery of drugs. ONLINE
As per superior court’s decision the availability of video is must in the matter of recovery of narcotics.
It is pertinent to mention here ATC had rejected Mati Ullah Jan plea for abolishing drugs charges from his case.
This decision of trial court has now been challenged in IHC.
