Partially damage was done to the police post at Charwazgai, tehsil Landi Kotal when unknown militants waged attack on it in the wee hours of Tuesday, police officials said. They said that in retaliation firing, the armed men managed to flee. The police said that last night at 03:am unidentified militants attacked the post with a rocket launcher and small weapons luckily with no casualties. However the offence caused damage to the outer wall of the checkpoint. In reaction the police personnel opened fire on them that forced them to flee the site. Soon after the event, police reinforcements rushed to the spot, cordoned off the area and launched an investigation, police said.
