ISLAMABAD: Motorway Police spokesperson on Monday warned motorists that foggy conditions can cause serious accidents if lane discipline is not maintained and advised drivers to limit their travel to between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. In a special statement with various media news channels, spokesperson of motorway police said that authorities are keeping a close watch on the situation and will reopen the affected routes as soon as visibility improves. They assured the public that safety remains the top priority. The spokesperson also urged motorists to exercise caution while driving, avoid unnecessary journeys, and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent accidents during the foggy conditions.
