Islamabad : Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb Wednesday said that recent scuffle in National Assembly is lamentable, adding that govt did not attack opposition but the parliament.
In a statement here on Wednesday, Maryam alleged that Prime Minister himself ordered his close friends to do corruption via sugar scandal, broadsheet scam and Ring road Scandal. Then the Prime Minister ordered ‘fake probes’ into these scandals, Maryam claimed, adding that his (PM’s) agenda is not get masses out of these economic crises but to stop Shehbaz Sharif from delivering his speeches.
Maryam Aurangzeb further claimed that Ministers and other govt lawmakers were there to attack opposition. Prime Minister ordered his ministers to abuse opposition leader, and to prevent him from delivering his speech, Maryam alleged.
Earlier, Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Wednesday barred seven Members of National Assembly from entering the parliament over ‘grossly disorderly’ conduct.
According to the order, on 14th and 15th June, during the speech of the Leader of the Opposition on budget 2021-22, the conduct of the seven lawmakers was grossly disorderly as they violated the rules and despite repeated directions, they interrupted proceedings of the House.
The lawmakers include Ali Gohar Khan, Chaudhry Hamid Hameed, Sheikh Rohale Asghar, Faheem Khan, Abdul Majeed Khan, Ali Nawaz Awan and Syed Agha Rafiullah.
“Therefore, I order the withdrawal of aforesaid members of the precincts of the National Assembly immediately. These members are required not to enter into the precincts of the Parliament House till further notice”, the Speaker said.
