KARACHI
New reservoirs of oil and gas have been discovered in Sindh. Oil and Gas development company has sent information on discovery of reservoirs to Pakistan Stock Exchange. Company told in the letter new gas and oil reservoirs have been discovered in Fakhir-1 field located in district Khairpur Sindh.
Letter said digging was made 4185 meters deep. This process was started on December 31, 2024.
55 barrel oil and 6.4 MMSC FD is being acquired from the wells daily.
The gas flow is 450 pounds per square and oil flow is 850 pounds per square inch.
The letter further said the share of OGDCL is 95 percent and share of government holding company is 5 percent in the discovery of gas and oil.
