Newly appointed District Police Officer Rokhanzeb Khan took charge of his post today. Newly appointed DPO North Waziristan Rokhanzeb Khan was saluted by the Chowk and Choband squad of police on his arrival in North Waziristan.
SP Investigation Mohammad Safdar Khan, DSP Headquarters Syed Jalal Wazir and other officers welcomed the newly appointed DPO.
On this occasion, the DPO in the District Police Line visited the North Waziristan Police Martyrs’ Memorial, laid wreaths and recited Fatiha, and after officially assumed his charge as District Police Officer.
After assuming charge of his post, the District Police Officer held an introductory meeting with the SDPOs and SHOs of the circle.
Addressing the introductory meeting, the DPO said that countermeasures should be expedited. And indiscriminate action should be taken against the criminal elements
The district police chief said on the occasion that the establishment of law and order throughout the district and the protection of lives and property of the citizens is the first priority.
He added that promotion of community policing is among the top priorities. Judgment on merits will be ensured.
Later, the District Police Chief also planted a commemorative plant in the newly constructed DPO office.
