The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has appointed senior bureaucrat Capt. (R) Muhammad Zubair Khan Niazi as Principal Staff Officer (PSO-I) to the Chief Minister, after which he has formally assumed charge of his new position. The Establishment Department has also issued an official notification in this regard.
Muhammad Zubair Khan Niazi belongs to Mianwali, Esa Khel, and has previously served on several key administrative positions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is regarded as an experienced and dynamic officer.
He has served as Assistant Commissioner Swat, D.I. Khan, and Charsadda, and also performed duties as Assistant Political Agent Mir Ali. Among senior leadership roles, he served as Deputy Commissioner Bannu and Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir, where his performance was particularly appreciated.
Following his latest posting, Capt. (R) Muhammad Zubair Khan Niazi has officially taken charge of his new responsibilities. According to government circles, his appointment aims to further enhance the efficiency and administrative functioning of the Chief Minister’s Office.
Official sources state that the new PSO-I is expected to strengthen the operations of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat with his extensive administrative experience.
