Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said Pakistan values Iran’s role in the Muslim Ummah and looks forward to advancing mutual goals of peace, development and harmony. He said he was honoured to call on Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran. The PM said he sought Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s views especially with regards to the current challenges faced by Muslim Ummah. Shehbaz Sharif said he thanked Khamenei for Iran’s role as a mediator and for expression of its concern for Pakistan during the recent crisis in South Asia.
