PESHAWAR: Police Service Hospital Peshawar has been declared an isolation facility for the suspected mpox cases as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday confirmed a new case of the disease. According to an office order issued by directorate general health services, Police Service Hospital, Peshawar has been designated as an isolation facility for the suspected mpox cases in the province. In order to effectively manage the Surveillance and Response activities, Police Services Hospital, Peshawar is hereby designated as an isolation facility for the suspected Mpox cases,” the official order stated. According to KP health department, KP has recorded three cases of mpox during the last two years, including one new case of the disease confirmed in Mardan district on 13th August this year.
