Peshawar: Rallies held in solidarity with armed forces

More rallies were staged in the provincial metropolis on Saturday to express solidarity with the armed forces and condemned the acts of violence on May 9 across the country. Two separate rallies were taken out in Peshawar to condemn the protests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) May 9 and attacks on government and private installations across the country.
All Pakistan CNG Association provincial chapter staged a rally on Saddar Road in solidarity with the Pakistan Army. They were carrying placards and banners in support of the forces and condemned the violent attacks by the workers of PTI.
Separately, Petroleum Association Pakistan also took out a rally on Sher Shah Suri Road in support of the armed forces. The rally participants were showering rose petals on Army personnel during the rally.
All Pakistan CNG Association provincial president Fazal Muqeem Khan Petroleum Association president Abdul Majid on the occasion addressed the participants and said that the role of Pakistan Army is undeniable and attacks on the force installations is unacceptable.
