PESHAWAR: Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Asghar here Tuesday said that Peshawar would soon be cleared of polythene bags urging local traders and population to help district administration in its efforts. Inspecting different megamalls and stores located at University Road, he lauded the efforts of various commercial markets owners for using biodegradable bags instead of polythene bags. He also imposed fine on manager of two megamalls for not displaying of price list and presence of expired items in the malls. He said district administration praises by local traders for replacing polythene bags with biodegradable bags. Muhammad Asghar said that each and every member of the society should play its role to clear the provincial metropolis of polythene bags. Our Correspondent
