PHC allows provincial education minister to go abroad

PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has allowed provincial minister Meena Khan Afridi to go abroad. The court remarked the FIA should remove name of the petitioner from PNIL list temporarily. The court issued order regarding previous hearing of the petition seeking removal of name of Meena Khan Afridi from ECL. It was said therein that according to the counsel the petitioner is provincial education minister and pro – vice chancellor of the universities. German government has invited him to participate in a ceremony. His flight is to take off from Bacha Khan airport Peshawar on June 7. Provincial government too has given him permission to go there. According to order the petitioner has come to know that his name is placed in ECL, PNIL and PCL , therefore, he cannot go abroad. In this regard the petitioner tried to seek access to concerned authorities but his efforts remained of no avail. According to the counsel petition has been filed seeking removal of the name of petitioner from ECL, PCL and PNIL. ONLINE
