Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit to Chakwal on December 26 to inaugurate four major mega projects include University of Chakwal, 500-bed hospital, Ring Road and School of Excellence. The Prime Minister visit has been finalized, sources said on Thursday. The University of Chakwal has become functional, space is also being sought for a 500-bed hospital, work has already started on Ring Road but now this Ring Road will be extended to the entire Chakwal area. Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has already approved the School of Excellence.
Member National Assembly Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Dullah, Provincial Minister Raja Yasir Sarfraz and Chairman Punjab Education Foundation Sardar Aftab Akbar besides PTI Chakwal District President Pir Waqar Hussain Karoli and other local officials will welcome the Prime Minister. Deputy Commissioner Capt. (retd) Bilal Hashim and DPO Muhammad bin Ashraf have started foolproof security arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit to Chakwal.
It is learned that after two o’clock in the afternoon, the Prime Minister will arrive at Balkasar Interchange where a limited number of local PTI officials and administrative officers will participate.
