Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested four robbers and recovered looted three stolen motorcycles, four mobile phones, cash, and weapons.
According to a statement issued here the arrest was made after the police devised an effective strategy and intensify operations against street crimes across the district. The arrested suspect robbers have been identified as Yar Muhammad alias Yare, Ayaz alias Toure, Abdul Wahab, and Naveedullah, all residents of Bazid Khel areas of the provincial capital.
The Badh Bir Akif Anjum police station has made a breakthrough by tracking down and arresting a group involved in snatching incidents.

A special team has been formed to apprehend them. Further important and sensational revelations are expected from the arrested suspects.
The team led by SP President Division Muhammad Zaman Khan and led by DSP Budh Bir Circle Zafar Khan to address the rising incidents of banditry in the suburbs of Budhbir.
The team, comprising HO Police Station Badhbir Akif Anjum and other investigating officers, conducted a comprehensive investigation and closely monitored several criminals and suspects.
