Police bust motorcycle lifters gang with arrest of four

The police on Friday busted a gang of motorcycle lifters and snatchers with the arrest of four gang members. Police have recovered six stolen motorcycles from their possession.
According to Banamari Police Station SHO Taimur Saleem that a special drive has been launched in Peshawar against the gangs actively involved in snatching and lifting motorcycles from the citizen.
He said that the accused have been identified as Seeshan, Shabbir Khan, Tariq and Shehzad, adding that all of them are residents of different areas of Peshawar.
Cases have been registrar against the arrested accused, he added that investigation launched for further arrest of the same gang.
According to initial investigation, the accused were also expert in changing the chassis number of the stolen motorcycles with foreign fake documents. Some parts of the motorcycles have also been recovered during the police action, SHO added.
