The members of ‘Muttahida Aman Committee’ met SSP-Operations Lieutenant Commander (Retd) Kashif Aftab Abbasi on Friday at Malik Saad Police Lines.
SSP Operations appreciated the role of ‘Muttahida Aman Committee’ for supporting the measures of police in maintaining law and order situation in Peshawar.
The delegation of the committee led by advocate Hussain Ahmed Madani while other members including Khurshid Ali Akhunzada, Pandit Hari Lal, Iqbal Bhatti Masih, Arif Yousif.
Kashif Aftab Abbasi said that protection of life and property of citizen was the first priority of police, adding that all resources would be made available to maintain peaceful environment in Peshawar.
SSP Operations Peshawar maintained that all government relevant departments and stockholders have been taken on board for a peaceful conduct of Eid-ul-Adha and Muharram.
On this occasion, the representatives of Muttahida Aman Committee presented different suggestion in the meeting and assured full cooperation to police department for maintaining peace during the aforementioned events.
The meeting was also attended by all divisional SSPs.
