A ceremony was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines on Friday to recognise the bravery and professional performance of police officers and personnel.
During the event, officials from Khyber district, Peshawar police and the Ababeel Squad were awarded commendation certificates, cash prizes and appreciation letters for their outstanding field performance.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed distributed appreciation letters among senior officers, including DPO Khyber Waqar Ahmed, SP Ababeel Squad Muhammad Junaid Kharal, SP Khyber Roohul Amin, DSP Faqirabad Ijaz Nabi Khan, DSP Yakatoot Saeedur Rehman and DSP Investigation Khalid Khan for their effective actions against criminal elements.
Cash rewards and certificates were also given to several station house officers, sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors and constables in recognition of their services.
Speaking on the occasion, the CCPO said that improved coordination, modern policing strategies and professionalism had led to a noticeable reduction in crime and better maintenance of law and order. He reaffirmed that the police would continue efforts to protect life and property and ensure the rule of law.
