PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan has paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, on his birth anniversary. In a statement, Khan described Quaid-e-Azam as a great statesman, unparalleled jurist, and visionary leader who led the Muslims to a free and sovereign homeland. Khan emphasized that Quaid-e-Azam’s principles of Unity, Faith, and Discipline continue to guide the nation, and urged the people to strive for democracy, rule of law, and social justice. He reaffirmed the PPP’s commitment to Quaid-e-Azam’s democratic vision and public welfare, and pledged to work towards a strong, prosperous, and equal-rights-based Pakistan. In a separate statement, Muhammad Humayun Khan extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community, saying that Christmas conveys a message of love, peace, tolerance, and brotherhood. He acknowledged the contributions of Christians in Pakistan’s development, education, health, and social services, and reaffirmed the PPP’s commitment to protecting minority rights and ensuring religious freedom.
