A prayer ceremony held by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department for the martyrs and injured of the Bannu incident.
According to a statement issued by the department, the cowardly terrorist attack on the vehicle of Assistant Commissioner North Waziristan, Shah Wali, in Bannu—resulting in his martyrdom along with two police personnel, and a passer-by, as well as injuries to several others is a deeply tragic and heartbreaking event.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed that may Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant swift and complete recovery to the injured.
At the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Peshawar, special prayers were offered that included recitation from the Holy Quran, prayers for the reward of the martyrs, and for the healing of the injured.
Furthermore, the Secretary of the Elementary and Secondary Education Department has issued instructions to all government schools across the province to offer Fatiha for the martyrs and special prayers for the quick recovery of the injured during the morning assembly.
The Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa strongly condemned all forms of terrorist activities and prays that Allah establishes peace throughout our beloved country in general, and particularly in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
